    Job Description The Purchasing Manager (Industrial Equipment) is responsible for managing the procurement of industrial equipment for the organization.

    They will be required to develop and implement purchasing strategies, identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of equipment.

    The role involves evaluating suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and monitoring inventory levels. The Purchasing Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute purchasing strategies for industrial equipment.
    • Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and reliability.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand equipment requirements.
    • Manage vendor relationships and performance.
    • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
    • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.
    • Provide reports to senior management on procurement activities. Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in industrial equipment.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and principles.
    • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficient in using procurement software and other relevant tools
