    Position Overview: As aMedical Center Receptionist you will serve as the first point ofcontact for patients and visitors. You will play a crucial role inproviding exceptional customer service managing administrativetasks and ensuring smooth operations within the medicalcenter.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Greetpatients and visitors warmly and professionally ensuring a positivefirst impression of the medicalcenter.
    • Managepatient checkin and checkout processes efficiently includingverifying demographic and insuranceinformation.
    • Scheduleappointments for patients ensuring accurate documentation ofappointments and maintaining the appointmentcalendar.
    • Answerphone calls and emails promptly and professionally directinginquiries to the appropriate staff members ordepartments.
    • Maintaina tidy and organized reception area ensuring that patientinformation and confidentiality are upheld at alltimes.
    • Assistpatients with completing necessary forms and paperwork includinginsurance claims and medical historyupdates.
    • Collaboratewith medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address anyurgent or critical patient needspromptly.
    • Processpayments copayments and insurance claims accurately utilizingelectronic medical records (EMR) systems and billingsoftware.
    • Assistwith administrative tasks such as filing data entry and inventorymanagement asneeded.
    • Stayinformed about medical center services policies and procedures toprovide accurate information to patients andvisitors.
    • Handlepatient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalismescalating issues to appropriate personnel whennecessary.
