    Summary

    • Proactively finding opportunities andleads for business growth by being closely in touch withclients.
    • Entertaining and conducting hotelinspections with clients.
    • Arrangingappointments with clients off-site.
    • Handlingguest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner,reporting complaints or problems.
    • Assisting toconduct extensive competitor research and maintaining excellentproduct knowledge of the Hotel.
    • Understandingclient needs and providing a proposal which best suits theirrequirements.
    • Overlooking and optimizing theutilization of rooms inventory and eventspaces
    • Ensuring all agreements (salescontracts) follow the established hotel policies and procedures andare based on sound commercialjudgement.
    • Ensuring correct booking proceduresare applied in relation to group room allocations, meeting set-ups,catering terms and contractualagreements.
    • Ensuring that all events arecarried out in an innovative and stylish fashion that reflectspositively on the customer's event and remains a positivebrand contact for Grand HyattDubai.
    • Entertaining potential and currentcustomers based on business priorities.
    • To beconversant in all sales related activities and undertake suchresponsibilities as and when required, dictated by businesslevels.
    • To have a strong hotel productknowledge and be well versed in up-sellingtechniques.
    • Attending weekly revenue meetingwith the sales department heads and hotel management and be able togive a financial projection for the segment as well as a backingstrategy.
    • Inputting orders, ensuring they areprocessed according to customer requirements, and ensuring allorders are accurate and delivered ontime.
    • Liaising and working closely with therelated operation departments ensuring guest's requests andexpectations are being met.
    • Converting activeleads and achieving personal salestargets.
    • Assisting the Director of Event Saleswith the recruitment of employees to join the Event Salesteam.
    • Attending trainings as part of theefforts to enhance job knowledge and the team's knowledgeon working efficiently.
    • Ensuring adherence tolaws, regulations, and hotelpolicies.
    • Assisting the team with any supportthat they require.
    • Maintaining positive guestand colleague interactions with good workingrelationships.
    • Ensuring all employees maintainan updated awareness of Hotel product knowledge, current promotion,policy changes and appropriate internalcommunication.
    • Maximizing the effectiveness ofSales Coordinators & Executives by developing each of theirskills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching,and/or mentoring.
    • Handling guest and employeeinquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guestcomplaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution canbe found and assure follow up with guests.

    Qualifications

    Ideallywith a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourismmanagement.

    Minimum 2 Years WorkExperience As Event SalesExecutive.

    Good problemsolving, administrative and interpersonal skills are amust.
