    Description
    Operate as part of a team ofengineers and designers in carrying out civil detailed engineeringworks and provide necessary technical procurement assistance incompliance with tender specifications/data sheets and withinbudgeted manhour and project schedules.
    Review ITB(Invitation to Bid) documents and provide technical support toproposal engineering team. Identify software requirements for theproject.
    Identify specialized studies/subcontractpackages requirements and prepare scope of work.
    Ensurestructural design related scope is well understood and captured forcost and schedule purposes.
    Review contract requirementsfor project execution organize the preparation of TechnicalDocument Register.

    Determine methods and solutions forcomplex engineering problems in tandem with the technicalspecialist and select the most efficient and economical manner inmeeting the objectives.

    Coordinate with projects/planningon project time schedules.
    Review and ensure Projectstructural design basisspecifications calculation methods are aligned with Clientsrequirements.

    Ensure Integrity is maintained in the project and getthe engineering deliverables reviewed/audited by technical orsubject specialists available in the group.

    Supervise and provideguidance in the development of plot plans engineering drawings andtechnical documents issued for IDCs and the integration of otherengineering discipline data inputs.

    Supervise the review of designcalculations.
    Direct the preparation of technical inquiry requests(Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors participate in the technicalevaluation of vendor bid offers. Direct and provide guidance in theTechnical Bid Evaluations (TBE).Administer the preparation ofPurchase Requisitions for the procurement of Structuralitems.
    Direct and monitor Material Take off (MTO)activities.
    Participate and present in 3D Modelreview/Constructability/Installation workshops for assignedprojects as required. Should be a structural engineer withproficiency in SACS and overall work experience of 3 to 15 yearsmax.
    Must have worked extensively on FEED/Detail Engineering/Designof offshore projects with any of the leading EPCI/Offshoreengineering companies.

    Should have experience on jackets andtopsides with hands on experience in various analysis such asinplace fatigue collapse pushover onbottom seismic etc.

    Exposure toyard support and preservice analysis such as loadout transport liftupending rollups etc will be an advantage material knowledgeincluding generation of the material requisitions and technical bidevaluation.

    Long term roles with a major EPCI company in the UnitedArab Emirates and an opportunity to work on mega offshoreprojects.
