    Description

    Main JobFunctions

    • Providing expertise and technicaladvice to those concerned in the department on all issues relatedto environmental issues and providing appropriate solutions uponrequest.
    • Conducting technical studies andresearch in the field of air environment, noise and electromagneticradiation for sustainable environmental planningpurposes.
    • Studying the air environment andlevels of noise pollution and electromagnetic radiation at thelevel in accordance with the approved standards, determinants andrequirements.
    • Conducting specialized studies onthe types of soils, and preparing appropriate regulations andstandards to develop methods of exploitation and preservation frompollution.
    • Assessment of the environmentalimpact resulting from the exploitation of naturalresources.
    • Develop environmental regulations,policies and standards for the exploitation of natural resources toreach the optimal use of these resources, and protect them fromdepletion and pollution, in accordance with international standardsand specifications.
    • Coordination withgovernmental and private institutions and bodies concerned withenvironmental issues and strategies in order to exchangeinformation and joint experiences in thisregard.
    • Preparing periodic reports on the workthat has been accomplished and indicating the problems that havebeen faced and the appropriate solutions to addressthem.
    • Implement all tasks and responsibilitiesentrusted in accordance with the security and confidentialitypolicy of information approved by the department and within thelimits of the powers granted.
