    Description

    AtkinsRalisare searching for an Assistant Project Manager to join our teamwith experience of managing largescale multidisciplinary projectswithin UAE and the GCC Region. The candidate is to have a minimumof 4 years experience within the Middle East.

    The selected candidate will beresponsible for the successful delivery of projects within the UAEand GCC Region. Reporting directly to the Project Manager they willbe responsible for supporting the management of projects within thebusiness. Their primary role is to ensure that projects aredelivered on time within budget and meet clientrequirements.

    The selectedcandidate will work with the Project Manager AtkinsRalis team andClient to establish project objectives develop project plans manageproject budgets and oversee project scheduling. They will beresponsible for supporting the delivery management function of theproject team ensuring that team members are completing tasks ontime and communication is maintained at all times.

    Other roles also include managingproject risk developing contingency plans and ensuring that healthand safety standards are followed in addition to adherence ofAtkins project management methodology requirements.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    ProjectDelivery:

    • Communicate scope fee deliverables and programme with the teamthrough Project KickOffs and regular updates.
    • Management of subconsultants agreements andpayments (technical management through Design Managementfunction)
    • Ensure that theProject Execution Plan addresses design management requirementsincluding integration and interface management between Clientrequirements subconsultant design packages
    • Support the PD and PM in production of theProject Management suite of documents and standardforms.
    • Assist in riskidentification and management
    • Assist PD and PM to identify and manage scopechanges scope extensions
    • Identify resourcing issues and requirements and coordinate thesewith the Technical Team Leads. Escalate to PD / PM when/ifrequired.
    • Provide timelyexternal and internal monthly reporting by implementing a planneddelivery schedule for routine reporting.
    • Ensure Quality Systems processes are adhered toin the delivery of projects
    • Undertake debriefs withClient
    • Assisting inmanaging the work financially technically andcontractually

    Financial Management:

    • tracking as planned and coordinatewith the Project Technical Leads to mitigate against potentialoverruns / underspends.
    • Have a good understanding of Risk and the need to use theircommercial acumen.
    • ManageRisks proactively through use of the tools provided and regularteam and Client engagement and update Contingency requirementsregularly (min. once per design stage).
    • Prepare Invoices for review and signoff by theProject Director and keep financial registers up todate.
    • Drive the changeprocess and be responsible for compilation ofvariations

    Client Management:

    • Liaise and interact with the clientfor the technical delivery components of theproject.

    Administrative:

    • Perform administrative tasks such as preparinginvoices estimates meeting minutes scheduling meetingsetc.
    • Maintaining projectdocumentation
    • Tracking andreporting project progress
