    Description

    Microsoft .NETSkillset

    The Technical LeadMicrosoft .NET will work as part of a team: interfacing withBusiness Solution Managers OBA Application Support Functional SMEand the customer. The job holder will be required to work on majorinitiatives to better incorporate the use of MS .NET within theOrganization by building and working on enterprise grade softwaresystems.

    Key Accountabilities& Tasks

    • Assessrecommend and introduce new technologies within the developmentutilizing their technical experience across the whole Microsoft webstack and web technology.
    • Manage the solutionsarchitecture (SOA Clustering and Web farm Session Management webservices REST Micro Services).
    • Handle andmanage the Web application security and its implications duringdevelopment (i.e. large amounts of web traffic or high load;Backend middle tier JavaScript and HTML XSS CSRF) by encryptionWhite listing hashing etc. following best practices and using Scrumwith heavy use of automation and continuous integration andautomated unit testing with the aim of high code coverage as andwhen required
    • Assist and provide consultancyand business solutions on various requirements in relation withsoftware delivery development implementation server managementconfiguration and system integration with relevant applicationsutilized by applying best practices andstandards.
    • Work with project management team todevelop overall Project Scope of work System Architecturedevelopment and implementation requirements and assist in thecollection and documentation of users requirements development ofuser stories estimates and workplans.
    • Coordinate with IT Operations duringinstallation and deployment of hardware and software on the testand production environments. Perform technical troubleshooting in awide range of different customersituations.
    • Collaborate with other softwaredevelopers business analysts and software architects to plan designdevelop test and maintain web and desktopbased businessapplications built on Microsofttechnologies.
    • Prepare reports manuals and otherdocumentation on the status operation and maintenance ofsoftware.
    • Demonstrate understanding andexecution of the consulting/project execution process as well asproviding the team/management with feedback on consultingengagements.

    QualificationsExperience &Skills

    • Bachelors Degreeor similar degree in IT discipline
    • MicrosoftCertified in one of the following Azure .NET and SQL Server is anadded advantage.
    • Web Application Technologieswith Microsoft Visual Studio differentversions
    • Planning & Project Managementskills.
    • Prioritization Communication Organizing& Time management skills.

    • Analytical & Problemsolvingskills
    • Flexible and adaptabilityskills
    • Source control management systemsmultithreading and concurrency
    • Debuggingperformance profiling and optimization
    • 10 yearsof progressive work experience of which at least 4 years isrelevant .Net consulting experience.
    • 7 years ofexperience with developing .NET Webapplications.

    TechnicalSkills:

    • Participationin at least 3 major implementations (500 end users / 1 0 servers)having an experience of NTier solution architectureimplementation.
    • Experience working withsoftware development life cycle widely accepted developmentmethodologies (ex. ISO 9001) and clientrequirements.
    • Proficiency in but not limitedto:
    • Microsoft .Net technologies including WebAPI WCF WPF WF LINQ .Net core and EF.
    • .NETframework (C#) & associated technologies likeRazor.
    • DB ERD building and querying (MS SQLServer Oracle)
    • ASP.Net Core ASP .Net Forms& MVC jQuery CSS3 JavaScript XML HTML5 Web Services(WCF)
    • Visual Studio MVC SQL Server SSRS SOAArchitecture TFS GitHub.
    • WCF (SOAP &Restful) Entity Framework High Charts Twitter Bootstrap andjQuery
    • Windows Workflow Foundation AJAX JSONLight Speed Framework Mobile developmentplatform
    • Business Connectivity Services PowerShell Service Applications BOC EXCELService
    • Business Intelligence Dashboard ExcelImport KPI for Key Performance and Data Connectionlibrary.
    • UI/UX capabilities arepreferred
    • Proven experience in Agiledevelopment and pair programmingmethodologies
    • Experience in integrating RESTAPIs and using Postman
    • Experience working withJavaScript frameworks: React.JS andAngular.JS.
    • Experience with unit testing andAutomated testing framework: Selenium.
    • CI/CDexperience is an added advantage
