    Description

    Our client who is alarge event organizer based in Dubai is looking to hire aProduction Manager From Europe South Africa AmericachinaJapan.

    JobObjective

    Experienced leadership in the production of performing arts andevents to direct the Production Department to ensure its diverseprograms/events are produced and achieved on time and withinbudget.


    Responsibilities:
    Coordinate with the authorities on current policies andprocedures
    Direct and oversee employees in the Production Department inperforming their delegated tasks in achieving goals objectives andprograms
    Prepare reports on the overall performance of theProductions
    Ensure that the performance of various tasks by the ProductionDepartment Team are in accordance with the policies andprocedures
    Identify required skills and knowledge and nominate his / her staffto attend appropriate training programs in coordination with the HRDepartment
    Ensure the availability of required resources to carry out all thetasks related to the ProductionDepartment
    Perform periodic performance appraisals for Department employeesaddressing and resolving any areas of concern as well as clearlyoutlining longterm careerobjectives
    Identify and recruit the required external experts advisorsconsultants etc needed to support eventsproduction
    Develop plan and manage the Production Department Operations Planand distribute to all necessary personnel ensuring objectives areclearly understood and deadlines aremet
    Approve all technical riders ensuring all requirements are met andquotes are within the allocated budgets in coordination with theFinanceDepartment
    Direct and oversee the identification of venues suppliers andadvertising outlets/platforms in coordination with the MarketingDepartment
    Direct and oversee the identification of contingency/mitigatingmeasures to be adopted for any potential risks (Security HSE etc)
    Prepare and allocate budget for programs and events with theFinanceteam.
    Review and confirm invoices received and ensure Departmentsubmission to the Finance Department for timelypayment
    Ensuring cash flow is maintained accurately for related Productionexpenses in coordination with the FinanceDepartment
    Review and approve new venue options and arrange site visits toassess the feasibility and viability of using alternativelocations
    Direct and oversee the rehearsals logistics accommodation andsecurity of the key external stakeholders (artists VIP audiencesprogram supporters etc)

    Manageand direct Front of House (FOH) smooth operation during Eventsensuring the event running order is adhered to and followed at alltimes.

    Requirements

    Tobe considered for this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:

    A minimum of 4 8 years experience in event and/or productionmanagement within a public/private sector entity preferably withinthe sector of arts andculture.

    Good understanding of the policies of theauthorities.
    Excellent presentationskills
    Communication and Relationship Management with suppliers vendorsand other third parties. willing to relocate toDubai
