Our global HR department has specialist teams in Recruitment EarlyCareers Recruitment and Development Learning and DevelopmentOperations Systems and MI and Reward. We work as one team todeliver a holistic service to our fee earning and business servicesgroups across our network.

The RecruitmentManager role is a key part of the Middle East and Africa (MEA) HRteam with the aim of facilitating the recruitment of suitablyqualified and experienced fee earner (qualified and nonqualified)business services and early careers candidates across our MEAoffices. You will be responsible for driving and championing theglobal and regional recruitment strategy particularly in respect ofEmiratisation and Saudization.

As part of yourrole you will also manage the Dubai based Emiratisationteam.

It is essential that you can travel asrequired for work including to Saudi Arabia which is a stronggrowth focus for the Firm. It is anticipated that you will spendupwards of 25% of your time in Saudi Arabia perhaps more as ourpresence continues to grow.

KeyResponsibilities

• Be atrusted source of current information and intelligence related torecruitment market trends salary data and challenges.
• As a representative of the firm in the market to alwaysmaintain a very professional manner across every singleinteraction.
• Ensure that each recruitmentexperience is a positive one for candidates agencies and internalstakeholders regardless of outcome.
• Adhere toall internal recruitment procedures and requirements including (butnot limited to) recruitment requisition signoff production ofuptodate job descriptions salary benchmarking and guidanceregarding interview questions and assessments prior to thecommencement of any recruitment.
• Champion fairselection criteria and interview procedures.
• Work collaboratively with HR and other internalstakeholders throughout the entire recruitment process.
• Ensure high levels of communication are maintained sothat expectations and priorities are efficientlymanaged.
• Proactively encourage directapplicants through internal and external referrals and bymaximizing social media and other relevant platforms especiallyLinkedIn.
• Develop and maintain lists ofpotentially suitable fee earner and business services candidates(through networking previous applications LinkedIn the media andother search mechanisms) for roles that may arise in thefuture.
• Develop strong trusted relationshipswith key recruitment agencies to be used where warranted includingfacilitating agency briefings with hiring managers asappropriate.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of ourpreferred supplier agencies (PSL) and ensure communicationrelationships and quality of service are consistentlymaintained.
• Ensure that nationalization is atthe forefront of hiring decisions.
• Driverecruitment nationalization campaigns in the UAE and KSA inconjunction with our Nationalization Manager and ensure that therequirements of BBBEE are met in South Africa.
• Understand the requirements to live and work in each ofthe territories and ensure that candidates have the necessarydocumentation as part of the screening process.
• For lawyers understand the different qualification routesand jurisdictions to provide guidance on level of qualification andsalary.
• Ensure all recruitment new joiner andonboarding documentation is completed by the HR Shared Servicesteam.
• Manage all documents related to therecruitment process including the creation of generic jobdescriptions.
• Maintain up to date informationfor regular management reporting via the ATS (applicant trackingsystem) and Excel.
• Attend inhouse and otherrelevant training to ensure best practice approaches are beingundertaken and that legal commitments are beingdelivered.
• Actively contribute to and supportad hoc resourcing projects from time to time.

Essential Skills &Experience

• Proven solidconsistent inhouse (law firm or professional services) and/oragency legal recruitment experience is essential.
• Experience of working in one or more of our Middle Eastterritories is an advantage.
• First ratesourcing ability preferably gained LinkedIn Recruiter and othertools like Pirical.
• Articulate and confidentteam player with the desire to work collaboratively with bothinternal and external stakeholders.
• The driveto work consistently hard to deliver the best possible talent foreach role across fee earners and business services in a timelyprofessional and communicative way.
• Anenthusiastic and proactive attitude with a supportive clientdelivery focused work ethic.
• The ability towork effectively across all levels of our business and tointerchange between different styles of communication depending onthe circumstance.
• Strong interviewingcommercial understanding interpersonal communication (oral andwritten) time and deadline management planning attention to detailand multitasking skills.
• Experience managingand mentoring people is an advantage.
• Abilityto take ownership and responsibility over all work undertaken witha commitment to supporting the wider needs of a project and notjust the immediate task.
• Excellent ITadministration with previous experience using an ATS (applicanttracking system for example CVMail) and Excel.
• Fluent English.
• Written and spokenArabic is a definite advantage (but is not essential).
