    Description
    • Manage overall health and safety,food safety, fire safety, security, trading standards, publichealth, housing, and disability within allocatedhotels
    • Implement safety risk managementpractices in line with the company's health and safetypolicy
    • Actively reduce guest complaintsrelating to health and safety, fire safety and foodhygiene
    • Reduce guest civilclaims
    • Audit the hotel to confirm Health andSafety/Food Hygiene compliance
    • Train Health andSafety /Food Safety issues to managers, supervisors andcolleagues
    • Liaise with outside contractors andsales staff on matters of Health and Safety and foodsafety
    • Assist the facilities department inmonitoring contractors and enforcing Health and Safety standards asrequired
    • Carry out food poisoninginvestigations, writing to manufactures as required and analysingHazard Analysis information
    • Liaise withfacilities department to test fire and sprinkler systems and ensurethey are on track with fire detection/preventionmeasures
    • Carry out weekly fire tours of thehotel, noting deficiencies and reporting tofacilities
    • Monitor and document resultsfollowing safety audits
    • Monitor and interpretmicrobiological results from food sampling of all hotel kitchensand advise accordingly
    • Carry out fire trainingon a three and six monthly basis and provide records ofattendance
    • Tutor basic food hygiene courses forrelevant hotel staff
    • Assist in thehotel's environmental awareness and assist environmentalchampions where necessary
