    Description

    Our client a wellknown automotiveaccessories firm is currently looking to hire for a LogisticsSpecialist in Dubai. In this role youwill play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timelymovement of automotive parts and products throughout their supplychain. Other responsibilities would include but not limitedto:

    • Supply Chain Management:Manage the endtoend logistics process including procurementtransportation warehousing and distribution of automotive parts andproducts.
    • Inventory Control:Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels toprevent shortages or excesses. Implement inventory optimizationstrategies to improve efficiency and reducecosts.
    • Supplier Coordination: Liaisewith suppliers to coordinate inbound shipments track deliveryschedules and resolve any issues or delays. Foster strongrelationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliabledeliveries.
    • TransportationManagement: Arrange transportation services negotiate contractswith carriers and oversee the transportation of goods to variouslocations. Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs andmaximize efficiency.
    • WarehousingOperations: Oversee warehouse activities including receivingstoring and shipping automotive parts and products. Implement bestpractices for warehouse organization layout and workflow to enhanceproductivity and safety.
    • QualityAssurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure theaccuracy and integrity of shipments. Conduct inspections ofincoming and outgoing goods to verify compliance with qualitystandards andspecifications.
    • Documentation andCompliance: Prepare and maintain documentation related to logisticsactivities such as shipping records invoices and customsdocumentation. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations andstandards governing transportation and logisticsoperations.
    • Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and costoptimization within the logistics function. Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to implement solutions and drive continuousimprovementinitiatives.

    Requirements

    Tobe considered in this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:

    • Bachelors degree inLogistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or arelated field.
    • Proven experience inlogistics operations within the automotive industry is a plus witha strong understanding of supply chain processes and bestpractices
    • Proficiency in logisticssoftware and systems such as ERP WMS and TMSplatforms.
    • Excellent analyticalskills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze dataidentify trends and make datadrivendecisions.
    • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith internal and externalstakeholders.
    • Demonstrated abilityto manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpacedenvironment.
    • Certification inlogistics or supply chain management (e.g. APICS CSCMP) is aplus.

    To be considered in this role, you need to meet the followingcriteria: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience inlogistics operations within the automotive industry is a plus, witha strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practicesProficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP, WMS,and TMS platforms. Excellent analytical skills and attention todetail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and makedata-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internaland external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multipleprojects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certificationin logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is aplus.
