    We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organization specializing in civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on road services, power distribution, sewage, plumbing etc. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and contribute to our success in the civil infrastructure sector.

    Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying and securing business opportunities within the civil infrastructure sector, particularly in road services and power distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective business strategies, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and market trends.
    • Analyze industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact civil infrastructure projects.
  • Business Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the companys presence in road construction and power distribution projects.
    • Identify and prioritize target clients and projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
    • Actively seek new clients through networking, cold calling, and other business development strategies.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Collaborate with the technical and project management teams to create compelling and competitive project proposals.
    • Ensure that proposals align with client needs and industry standards.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
    • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Liaise between clients and internal project teams to ensure smooth project initiation and execution.
    • Monitor project progress and address any client concerns.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators related to business development.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in business development within the civil infrastructure sector, with a focus on road construction and power distribution.
    • Strong understanding of the civil engineering and construction industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the civil infrastructure sector.
