    Job Summary:
    The roleholder manages and oversees all Government Relations requirementsfor the Bank including UAE visas immigration and pension proceduresrequired from various Ministries and Government entities. Thiscovers onboarding and outboarding of employees as well as assistingrenewals of current employee base. The role holder will beresponsible for supervising other Government Relations Officers andPROs to ensure efficient servicedelivery.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managethe Government Relations team to ensure that all Government relatedrequirements related to the Banks Employee base are managedeffectively and within agreed SLAs.
    • Be wellversed on required HR policies procedures and online governmentsystems in order to provide advice on related and current practicesand procedures at an advanced level to the GRO unit and onboardingemployees.
    • Be knowledgeable of the UAEs Labourlaws and procedures within Immigration and Ministry of Labour inorder to process the required documents within agreedSLAs.
    • Plan prioritize and allocate workassignments to the GR team and monitor their performance to ensurethe quality and timely execution oftasks.
    • Ensure timely completion of visaprocesses against agreed SLAs for employees and dependents whilstproviding regular progress updates to the GRO unit and HRBPs.Ensure all queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely mannerand be the point of contact for any escalatedcases.
    • Continuously review systems proceduresand practices to identify shortcomings and recommend best practicesolutions to increase efficiency and performance. This includesdeveloping esmart services and use of online portals to provideefficient and streamlined visaservices.
    • Provide indepth professional guidanceand advice on GR queries and resolve issues to employees and LineManagers.
    • Provide professional advice guidanceand conduct performance review of GR staff to assist in thedevelopment of their potential and to enhance skill basedknowledge.
    • Develops own professional expertiseby onthejob and formal training and developing networking andcontacts within Immigration MOL andGPSSA.
    • Participates in regular team meetings tocontribute to group discussions on areas of potential improvementsand to resolve issues of a broader policynature.

    Knowledge& Experience:

    • 5years experience in UAE Government Relations relatedwork.
    • Effective communication skills in Englishand Arabic.
    • Must have successfully completed afurther training programme on advanced HR andManagement.
    • Computer Literate especially inMicrosoft Office
