    Description

    The main task for this positionwill be to support the asset management team. The Analyst isresponsible for monitoring the financial and operationalperformance of the hotel assets, including during the pre-openingphases.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform accurate and timely review ofthe submitted operational reports of Hotel Operators and performthe required analysis of the operating results while liaising withthe Hotel Operators for inquiries andclarifications.
    • Study the operational reportssubmitted by the hotel operators, consolidate them, and prepareinput notes on any critical areas for the management'sconsideration. Provide both the reports and input notes to theManagement.
    • Work with team members to identifyand implement initiatives to save costs, increase revenues, andenhance customer experience.
    • Provide therequired pre-opening support and follow-up for newly operatedhotels to ensure the proper initiation of the hotels'operations.
    • Analyze and respond to capital andoperational expenditure (CAPEX & OPEX) requests to ensurethat the requests address the current needs of the hotels and thatno overestimations are made.
    • Review and analyzethe Actuals and budgets submitted by hotel operators and provideinput to management to challenge and debate the budgets andunderlying assumptions.
    • Review and benchmarkthe trading performance parameters relevant to the revenue of eachasset and at the portfolio level (i.e., ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy,STR, market, ... etc.).
    • Performanalysis on break-even point, fix/variable cost-ratio, ROI, paybackperiod, payroll & related, productivity, COGS, outsourcingmodels, energy efficiency, flowthrough, and other KPIs periodicallyto assess operational efficiency.
    • Preparefinancial projections and feasibility studies for new acquisitionprojects with team members.
    • Perform qualitativeanalysis summary for each asset to improve onlinereputation.
    • Conduct ad-hoc research studies asinstructed by the Management, whether related to the review ofoperated hotels or any other related topics ofinterest.
    • Support the team in businessassessment, market study, P&L reviews, and otherrequirements.
    • Produce and deliver reportingwith high accuracy.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree inhospitality administration, business management, or related fieldfrom a four-year college, university, or equivalent experiencerequired.
    • MBA ispreferred.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 1 year'experience with practice in hospitality and assetmanagement.
    • UAE work experience with Dubaimarket exposure as an advantage.
    • Advanced levelof Microsoft Office, especially inExcel.
    • Strong financial/consulting background,especially in Asset Management.
    • Stronganalytical and numerical skills.
    • Must possessexcellent written and verbal communicationskills.
    • Results-driven, capable of performingwell under pressure and meeting tightdeadlines.
