    Description
    • Supporting internal controls overfinancial reporting (ICOFR) in line with OMB Circular A-123 for arange of financial and business process areas including Property,Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).
    • Supportingthe development and execution of corrective action plans andbroader remediation strategies designed to address internal controland audit deficiencies and strengthen financialprocesses.
    • Providing a broad range of financialstatement audit and audit risk management and remediation supportthat support the agency's goals to maintain a clean auditopinion and improve internalcontrols.
    • Assessing the impact of new guidanceon financial operations and supporting the implementation of newguidance when applicable.
    • More broadly, thisteam member will be engaged in a diverse set of project-specifictasks covering a broad set of consulting capabilities,including:
      • Apply a variety of analytical,problem-solving, and reporting skills andtechniques
      • Documenting and evaluating businessprocesses and making recommendations for processimprovements
      • Producing a variety ofcommunications from informal email interactions with clients toformal memos, issue papers, presentations, executive briefings, andothers
      • Conducting research to investigateclient problems and work collaboratively with your team toformulate and recommend solutions
      • Assistclients in analyzing projects and programs to identify risks andhelp develop, apply, and monitormitigations
      • Support clients in collecting andanalyzing data, producing models and visualizations, and drawconclusions from the data to improvedecision-making
      • Analyze and help develop and/orimprove policies and procedures for a variety of programs andoperational needs
    • Inaddition to client-facing responsibilities, this role will supportimportant activities that contribute to the growth of our business,strengthen internal Guidehouse operations, and create a positivework environment for all Guidehouse employees. Some of theseactivities include but are not limitedto:
      • Assisting in business developmentactivities, such as identifying potential client needs and waysGuidehouse can assist, developing proposals and white papers,participating in client and internal account meetings,etc.
      • Participating in Guidehouse'sprograms for coaching and mentoringstaff
      • Assisting in the development of learningand development materials, courses, and presentations to helpGuidehouse employees expand and strengthen theirskills
      • Support Guidehouse programs andinitiatives for recruiting top talent to thecompany

    WhatYou Will Need

    • US Citizenship and the ability toobtain and maintain a federal PublicTrust
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, orapplicable financial related field
    • THREE (3)years of Financial Management experience including at leaseone:
      • Reviewing of property, plant, and equipmentsupporting documentation
      • Financial statementaudit standards
      • Responding to auditrequests

    WhatWould Be Nice To Have

    • Demonstrates proven knowledge andsuccess in advising federal clients in financial reporting andmeeting the requirements of related federal guidance, including:OMB Circular A-136, the GAO Green Book, the Chief FinancialOfficers Act of 1990, Federal Managers' Financial IntegrityAct of 1982 (FMFIA), Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), and GAO/PCIEFinancial Audit Manual.
    • Proven ability toimplement innovative solutions to meet changing organizationalneeds, ability to bring creativity and collaboration to the processof working with financial systems;
    • Federalaudit support, audit liaison, corrective action planning, andexecuting remediation with a focus on internal controls overfinancial reporting and management financial statementassertions,
    • Demonstrated GAAP accountingexpertise and knowledge and understanding of Federal financialaccounting standards and the U.S. Standard General Ledger(USSGL);
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Federalfinancial management, accounting, and budgetary businessprocesses
    • CPA
    • Master ofBusiness Administration Degree (MBA)
