    Description

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Operational Leadership: Provideleadership and strategic direction to multiple material processingfacilities within the region, ensuring the highest level ofoperational efficiency andeffectiveness.
    • Safety and Compliance: Overseesafety protocols, compliance with environmental regulations, andadherence to all company policies and procedures. Foster a cultureof safety and continuousimprovement.
    • Production Management: Monitor andoptimize material processing operations to ensure productiontargets are met while maintaining quality standards andcost-effective processes.
    • Budget and FinancialManagement: Manage the financial performance of the facilities inthe region, including budget development and cost controlmeasures.
    • Team Management: Build, develop, andlead a team of facility managers, operators, and support staff,ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to excel intheir roles.
    • Performance Monitoring: Implementkey performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate facilityperformance, identifying areas for improvement and takingcorrective actions.
    • Vendor and SupplierManagement: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure areliable flow of materials, parts, and services required forfacility operations.
    • EnvironmentalResponsibility: Promote sustainability and environmentallyresponsible practices within thefacilities.
    • Customer Relations: Develop andmaintain positive relationships with customers, addressing theirneeds and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Reporting:Generate and present periodic reports on facility performance,operational metrics, and budgetary status to seniormanagement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in arelevant field (e.g., engineering, business management) orequivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years ofleadership experience in material processing, manufacturing, orrelated industries.
    • Strong knowledge ofenvironmental regulations and safetyprocedures.
    • Excellent leadership,organizational, and problem-solvingskills.
    • Effective communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively withdiverse teams.
    • Financial acumen and experiencein budget management.
    • Demonstrated ability todrive continuous improvementinitiatives.
    • Willingness to travel within theregion as needed.

    PreferredQualifications:

    • Master's degree in a relatedfield.
    • Experience in waste management orenergy-from-waste industries.
    • Knowledge of LeanSix Sigma principles and process improvementmethodologies.
