    Description
    • Definitive knowledge in surveyequipment; underground activities such as earthworks/excavation,concrete works, steel works, road works and other related civilactivities.
    • Prepare a detailed plan for eachU/G network based on material delivery dates and Subcontractorresource mobilization.
    • Provide day to day civil/ structural support and advice to supervisors. Provide specialistsupport with regards to inspection, and meeting with client orsubcontractor.
    • Coordinate civil / structural /building activities within assigned scope at worksite.
    • Ensure that necessary certification formaterials is available for concreteworks.
    • Review the project schedules to confirmwork sequences, installation progress requirements and completionmilestone plans. Also, identify other discipline commodities thatmust be installed to support the civilworks.
    • Able to understand a material packinglist and identify the material required for the installation andcross reference with the PO. Planning activity prepare materialrequisitions & ensure theirwithdrawal.
    • Preparation of work, monitoring ofpunch lists and red lining of GA drawings P&IDs. Aftercompletion of works ensuring feedback & closework
    • The Ability to understand and implementcivil / structural drawings (topographic layouts,earthworks/excavation drawings, borehole's locations,fencing, paved roads and drainage, underground piping andfoundations, architectural and conceptual building drawings,control room layouts, substation layouts, machinery shelters,service platforms, pipe racks, pump foundations, vessel and vesselplatform foundations, columns and other civil/structuraldrawings)
    • Ensure AFCs are strictly followed bySubcontractor.
    • Ensure implementation ofPetrofac's Civil, Structural and Buildingprocedure.

    EssentialQualifications And Skills

    • 15+years of Civil, Structural / Building site experience in directhire construction with an international oil & gas EPCcompany and with subcontractors.
      • Experience working in the Commonwealth ofIndependent States (CIS/FSU), Middle East, and/or NorthAfrica.
      • Familiar with International codes andstandards (BS, ASTM.ACI etc.), concrete/asphalt mix designs,laboratory testing of concrete, asphalt, earth works andgrouting.
      • Have working knowledge andinterpretation skills of building sectional/reinforcement andstructural steel drawings.
      • Has knowledge andexperience to solve civil, building, structural issues onsite andprovide guidance to subcontractors.
      • Computerproficiency, communication & interpersonal skills, fluentin written & spoken English, software skills to include theuse of word, e-mail, spread sheets andpresentation.
      • Positive "cando" attitude & strong work ethic, conceptualthinking, problem solving & ability to work under pressure.Optimize the installation of equipment.
      • Trainedin lifting and scaffolding supervision(preferred).
