    Description

    Job Title: Medical Procurement Officer

    We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Medical Procurement Officer to oversee all aspects of procurement related to medical supplies and equipment. The successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of the healthcare industrys procurement processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costeffectiveness and quality of medical supplies and equipment.
    • Source and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships.
    • Collaborate with medical staff to assess their needs and preferences ensuring timely procurement of essential items.
    • Monitor inventory levels forecast demand and coordinate with stakeholders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Stay informed about advancements in medical technology and industry trends to make informed procurement decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to procurement activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and expenses and generate reports as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in business administration supply chain management or a related field.
    • Proven experience in procurement preferably within the healthcare sector.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology equipment and supplies.
    • Strong negotiation communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to multitask prioritize workload and work effectively under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
