    Employee Relations Manager - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Qureos Inc

    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports disciplinary grievance andresearch misconduct investigations through advice on the conduct ofthe meeting and format. Drafting questions reports andcorrespondence to support the process.
    • Sit ondisciplinary and appeal panels and provide advice to the panel onappropriate level of sanction up to and including dismissal.Seeking the necessary support whereappropriate.
    • Support leadership teams withpractical advice and guidance on how to manage formal ER issuesensuring consistency of approach and compliance with legislationand in line with company policies procedures andprocesses.
    • Provides advice to managers andcolleagues on conflict resolution as an alternative to formalEmployee Relations procedures.
    • Coaches andsupports managers and colleagues to mutually resolve conflictpositively.
    • Develop and maintain good workingrelationships with Investigating Officers leaders and all HRcolleagues.
    • Contribute to the development andmaintenance of positive employee relations through the timely andaccurate provision of advice and guidance
    • Keepup to date with UAE Labor Laws and developments in best practice HRand Employee Relations.
    • Updates and audits HRISto ensure accurate ER information is input onto the system andprovides reports the HR leadership team and business asrequired
    • Deliver workshops contributing tocontent on a range of ER related topics.
    • Createand maintain an ER case management log to ensure that theinformation is accurate and up to date.
    • Ensurethe Senior HR leadership team are updated on all ERcases
    • Take a proactive role in the continuousimprovement in the management of employee relations across thebusiness.
    • Undertake or contribute to specificHR/ERrelated projects as requested by the HR leadershipteam
    • Promote and facilitate good equalopportunities practice across all areas ofemployment
    • Provide support and information toother HR functions and other departments asrequired

    To qualify youmust possess:

    • Degree or Diploma in HR or BusinessManagement
    • CIPD qualification or workingtowards (desirable)
    • 5 years HR generalistexperience
    • 3 years in ER role (Manageddisciplinaries and investigations)
    • IndepthKnowledge of UAE Labor Law and legal regulations with ability tocomprehend interpret and apply appropriate sections of applicablelaws guidelines regulations andpolicies.
    • Excellent English communicationskills both written and verbal.
    • ExcellentInterpersonal and customer serviceskills.
    • Excellent computer skills including MSExcel skills and analysis.
    • Able to provideremote ER support for a multisiteoperation.
    • Well organized and attention todetails with the ability to plan prioritize and manage high volumeof case work and queries to meetdeadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills with ability to analyze data identify trends and make datadriven recommendations.
    • Demonstrated ability tohandle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalismconfidentiality and fairness.
    • Ability to remaincalm and professional and managedifficult.
    • Proven track record of progressionin various HR disciplines Team Management and operationalhospitality/leisure/guest service experience isdesirable.
    • Multiple language skills would be anadvantage
    • Analyticalskills
