    Description
    • Provide customers/subcontractorsand customer suppliers with a single point-of-contact and assumethe role of communications coordinator for assigned major projects,which includes coordinating within the variousdepartments.
    • Assure preparation of customerdocuments and project drawings are completed as required by thecontract.
    • Represent Company atcustomer/subcontractor coordination statusmeetings.
    • Monitor all activities to assurecosts and gross margins are met.
    • Track andcontrol the major components of the projectcost.
    • Take responsibility for the overallproject schedule.
    • Follow administrativeprocedures as necessary to assure the success of theproject.
    • Negotiate settlement of all claimsassociated with the project.
    • Monitor allproject activities, report progress against plans and takecorrective action as required to meetplans.
    • Perform other work-related tasks asassigned.
    • Comply with all NOV Company and HSEpolicies and procedures.

    JobRequirements

    • Responsible for all operationalactivities of assigned projects.
    • Travel toon-site locations to meet with internal and externalcustomers.
    • Maintain a high degree of situationawareness to track and manage issues.
    • Strive toachieve on time delivery.
    • Follow NOV PMprocedures and processes.
    • Create customizereports when required.
    • Create, store, and finddocuments in RigOffice.

    Facility/GroupSpecific Responsibilities

    • Project management and customer focalpoint for all NOV-associated project work scopes: Recertifications,upgrades, reactivations, I&C, OEM repairs,rig/shipyard-based inspections, and other internalprojects.
    • Follow standardized processes,policies, and operational procedures from a global operationsperspective.
    • Responsible for all projectplanning activities including scope identification, creation of theProject Execution Plan (PEP) and documentationgathering.
    • Create and document required workscopes of the project such as quotations, proposals, purchaseorders and change orders as required through the duration of theproject.
    • Issue and track purchase orders forparts and services for internal and 3rd partyrequirements.
    • Responsible for project executionincluding scope execution and issuance of projectcertifications.
    • Collaborate with both regionaland local Aftermarket representatives (Service, Spares, Repair,Engineering, Sales, Accounting/Finance, etc.) to maximize support,planning, project execution and customerexperience.
    • Build and strengthen relationshipswith customer, suppliers, andvendors.
    • Responsible for monitoring andcontrolling projects which includes risk management, changemanagement and progress management, reporting and projectcloseout.
    • Maximize financial results bymonitoring/reporting all activities to ensure accuratecosting
    • Maintain awareness of critical pathactivities affecting customer-sensitive project deadlines; buildcontingency plans and implement recoveryplans.
    • Responsible for project close outincluding invoicing, handovers, and after-actionreviews.
    • Perform other work asassigned.
    • Comply with all NOV Company and HSEpolicies and procedures.
