    Whatyouget:
    • Worksplit between a Home office and an open, collaborative workspace(with screaming-fastInternet)in Anaheim Hills, minutes away from great restaurantsand local coffee shops, as well as onsite client work withinbest-in-class healthcare, finance, lawfirms, high-tech manufacturing/engineering operations, andnon-profits throughout Southern California (Orange, San Diego, andLos Angeles Counties). No two days are the same – so theviews are alwayschanging
    • Full-time,permanent position with core hours M-F 8 am-5 pm, with some flexaround those hours and occasionalweekends
    • Competitivepay hourly pay, $30-36/hour based on experience, with overtimeavailable

    TheProject Engineer is responsible forthe analysis, design, implementation, and post-documentation ofcustomer cloud and on-premises technology projects, as well asproviding 3rd level technical assistance to the technology supportteam member whenrequired.Inaddition, the Project Engineer must have the ability to understandthe business impact of technology decisions withincustomers' networks and recommend the most comprehensivesolution to meet the customers' business needs.

    TechnologyDesign andImplementation
    • Designand implementation at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity,routers, firewalls, switches WLAN and securitysolutions
    • Designand implement private and public cloud solutions as well astraditional on premise server and application solutions forcustomers using technologies including VMware, Windows Server,Exchange Server, SQL, RDS, Citrix and other technologies within ourservice catalog.vicecatalog.
    • Designand implement storage, backup, and disaster recoverysolutions
    • Designand implement endpoint technology solutions including VDI, desktopmigrations, tablet and wireless technologies for Windows, MAC,Android, andothers
    • Travelto client sites and provide onsite service and support asnecessary and provide on-call support asassigned
    ProjectManagement:
    • Reviewand optimize current project implementation methods to supportbusinessgrowth
    • ProjectManagement on assigned projects, including coordination,scheduling, time keeping, anddocumentation
    • Attendand conduct internal and client meetingsand manage clientexpectations
    • Providepresales support for customer technologysolutionrequirements
    • Manageproducts and inventory relative to assignedproject
    Administration:
    • Performsystem documentation on implemented technologies for the supportteam to have efficient means of post-implementation technicalsupportdocuments
    • Performresearch and testing of new technologies to remain nimble withemergingtechnologies
    • Documentinternal processes and procedures related to duties andresponsibilities
    Experience,Skills, Education, andAbilities:
    • 3+years of experience in a network engineerrole
    • 4-yeardegree in CIS or MIS and 4+ year work experience in informationtechnology, or equivalent workexperience
    • Stronglyencouraged: 3+ years of experience as a project engineer withproject managementresponsibilities
    • Certificationin Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIASecurity+ or similar industry trainingprogram
    • Musthave valid driver's license & reliablevehicle
    • Able tolift, carry and move 40 pounds of computerequipment
