    Job Title:
    Product Design Assistant Manager (Perfume Industry)



    Job Summary:


    As a Product Design Assistant Manager in the Pesrfume Industry, you will play a crucial role in the creation and development of innovative and visually appealing fragrance products.

    Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for translating creative concepts into tangible product designs, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, market trends, and consumer preferences.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Conceptualization and Ideation:
    Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
    Generate creative concepts for new fragrance products, considering market trends, brand identity, and target audience.

    Design Development:
    Transform conceptual ideas into tangible product designs, incorporating elements such as bottle design, packaging, and labeling.
    Collaborate with external design agencies, freelancers, and in-house design teams to bring ideas to life.

    Material and Technology Exploration:
    Stay informed about the latest materials and technologies in the fragrance industry.
    Evaluate and recommend suitable materials, finishes, and production techniques that align with the brands image and budget.

    Prototyping and Testing:


    Oversee the prototyping and testing phases of product development to ensure designs meet quality standards and are feasible for production.



    Cross-functional Collaboration:


    Liaise with various departments, including marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the design and production process.



    Market Research:
    Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
    Use market insights to enhance the design strategy and create products that resonate with the target audience.

    Budget Management:
    Work within budget constraints while maintaining design quality and innovation.
    Collaborate with the procurement team to source cost-effective materials without compromising on aesthetics and functionality.

    Team Leadership and Mentorship:
    Provide guidance and leadership to junior design team members.
    Foster a creative and collaborative work environment, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and approaches.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
    Proven experience in product design within the perfume or beauty industry.
    Strong portfolio showcasing successful product design projects.
    Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, etc.
    Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to fragrance products.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
