    Description
    Budgeting Cost Control & MIS

    Assist in the formulation of the corporatestrategy for the year and finalization of annual targets along withother functional heads to implement the strategic directions

    Coordinate the setting up of sales projectionsand of purchase budgets based on projected sales for each shop inthe territory and each department

    Coordinateoperational seasonal buying budgets with the various managementteams including financial projections and cash flow statements andensure that they are prepared and finalized

    Analyse budgets of the Concept and Territory operations monthlydiscuss and revise allocations if necessary

    Monitor the income and expenses versus budget track the variancesrecommend corrective actions and followup on remedial actions toensure the adherence to the budget and to support the effectivemonitoring of performance within the budget for:

    o Retail productivity

    oGross Margin and Net Margin for the Concept

    oStocks and Sales

    Conduct reviews andevaluations for costreduction opportunities

    Deliver set standards of MIS reports for various departments ensuretimely preparation and presentation of periodic MIS and interpretdata to suggest ways of cost optimization and store performanceimprovement

    Exercise necessary budgetarycontrols on all costs incurred by the Territories ensuring thatthey comply with the drawn budgets

    Coordinatewith marketing for providing inputs on Margins Mark Downs forpromotions campaigns and inseason activities like sales

    Evaluate and present feasibility of newprojects and assess the financial implications of new or existingstores/ventures

    Monitor Capital Expenditureplans for various territories

    Accounting andAudit

    Ensure proper approval authorization ofall payments and ensure accuracy in timelines and accuracy in allpayments

    Develop and maintain systems forprompt and accurate collection of financial and accountinginformation

    Supervise online accounting andensuring accuracy of all transactions

    Ensurescrutiny and timely payment to all suppliers and supplier accountsreconciliation

    Ensure creditors accounting andthe non RNA company accounting is taken care of

    Supervise timely and accurate internal auditsand finalize Accounts for the Concept

    Reviewand validate Payroll Overtime payments and Incentives on time

    Manage all staff requirements like SalaryCertificate / PP / HRA Approval etc

    Review andauthorise banking transactions

    Review andAuthorize Petty cash / Medical / Leave Settlement vouchers

    Review and approve Supplier payments

    Warehousing Inventory and Logistics

    Ensure optimal / economic stock holding

    Negotiate and review arrangements with localpurchase suppliers non trading material suppliers

    Supervise control and authorize all purchases(local non Trading)

    Help the corporate team inmanaging and overseeing inbound and outbound logistics activity

    Coordinate with the central warehouse forreceiving warehousing and delivery of product in a mannerconsistent with Concept service and cost objectives

    Monitor freight forwarding by logisticspartners

    Ensure timely delivery of shipmentsto various territories along with Imports Department / RNA

    People Management

    Managethe performance of the team set annual performance goals monitorperformance and provide constructive feedback to improveperformance.

    Identify their training anddevelopment needs and ensure their fulfilment

    Develop and mentor subordinates to move to the next higher level ofjob through career planning

    Ensure complianceto Company policies and values

    Miscellaneous

    Implement improvements in business processesas directed by Head Finance

    Represent theConcept in all financial matters with banks auditors and otherrelevant parties

    Train and educate the teammembers about errors/new developments

    Ensurethat all the Concept assets are safeguarded

    Coordinate for Project execution (New Stores / Warehouse)requirements (if applicable)

    Coordinate withthe corporate legal team for any legal matter of the concept

    Qualifications

    BudgetingCost Control & MIS
