    We are hiring anambitious and forwardthinking assistant planning manager to joinour established and growing team in the region.

    • You will ensure robust quality systems are inplace and suitably managed in line with serviceexcellence.
    • You willmanage delivery from project inception/brief through designdevelopment and planning contractor procurement and constructionphase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreedproject milestones.
    • Youwill manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of theAssociate Director and other senior leaders alongside the widerproject and client teams to ensure the timely and accurate deliveryof the project.

    Createopportunity for our people to excel:

    • You will manage design and wider consultantteams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion ofresponsibilities.
    • You willlead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders toachieve strategic project key performance indicators(KPIs).
    • You will activelynetwork innovate and seek understanding of best practice utilisingthe full depth of knowledge of Mace Group the Centres of ExcellenceMace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub.

    Youll be responsible for:

    • Managing project budget and project resourceallocation.
    • Providingprogress reports as and when required.
    • Supervising the planning and implementation ofthe project.
    • Facilitatingthe definition of project scope and goals.
    • Defining project tasks and resourcerequirements.
    • Managing thedelivery of identified capital projects with a focus on budgetschedule and quality output.
    • Procuring (where appropriate) managing anddirecting a diverse range of consultant expertise across amultidisciplinary set of skills.
    • Overseeing the management of constructionproject design estimation and project planning including allrelevant statutory processes procurement management and maintenanceforecasting working closely with alldepartments/disciplines.
    • Managing the project control includingresourcing and service delivery requirements ensuring consultantsupervision was relevant and approving all paymentcertificates.
    • Managing theproduction and approval of project delivery plans contractor planscash flow projections and payment claims.
    • Supervising the project closeout activitiesincluding commissioning and handover to operations and maintenance.

    Youll need tohave:

    • Membership of RICSCIOB APM ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personaldevelopment.
    • Substantialexperience in the successful delivery phase of projects andprogrammes.
    • Property orinfrastructure project management expertise.
    • Commercial and financial acumen.
    • Experience of leading parts ofprojects within large diverse teams.
    • Experience of developing and formingrelationships with senior stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainabilityconsiderations will shape the outlook of the projects you areworking on.
