    Senior Staff/PrincipalEngineer (FinTech/Cryptocurrency)

    Requirements

    • +7years of work experience as a SoftwareEngineer/Developer
    • Experienceas a technicalengineer
    • Strongexperience working in AWS or other similar cloud architecture(GoogleCloud/Azure)
    • In-depthexperience with , possessing a broad knowledge of JavaScriptin general and Node.jsinternals
    • Strongexperience in ServerlessFramework
    • Youhave experience driving technical projects, prioritising work,identifying dependencies, facilitating technical decisions andcross-functional teamdiscussions.
    • Youreexperienced in designing and implementing application architecturesand code that are highly scalable, available, maintainable, andperformant.
    • Youcan work independently while also putting an emphasis on thementorship of those aroundyou.
    • Yourecomfortable collaborating closely with products, stakeholders andsponsors, providing estimates or product ideas that will influenceyour teamsroadmap.
    • Yourea thoughtful communicator some teams are partially or fullydistributed so effective written communication iskey.
    • StateMachine and Step Function experienceadvantageous
    Responsibilities
    • Settechnical direction and own the architecture and implementation offeatures
    • Provideguidance and assistance in helping knock down walls and a clearpath towards workcompletion
    • Leadthe backend competency members in the implementation of new andexistingfeatures
    • Provideclear and concise communication regarding feature developmentstatuses to the team andstakeholders
    • Plan,supervise and manage releases for the work the team areperforming
    • Empowerteam members - including other developers as well as TechnicalSupport - through technical mentoring, contributions to the teamsdocumentation, libraries, and providing automation for manual taskswhereappropriate
    • Defineand adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, anddesign bestpractices
    • Ensurequality by performing thorough testing and leveraging peer reviewsfor your work and the work of cross-functionalteams
    • Helpscope, estimate, and prioritisework
    • Embraceand demonstrate our values: humility, creativity, andindependence
