    Job Summary

    Lead/Staff Scientist Sustainability and EnergyTechnologist is expected to Initiate Propose and Execute researchand development Debottlenecking/Revamp Energy saving Sustainabilityimprovement programs directed towards the improvement of processesand commercial technologies. Lead inhouse new process technologydevelopment scale up & implementations in commercial plants.Provide technology solution to improve energy consumption incommercial plants for the conventional operation turnover andrecommissioning as needed. Provide troubleshooting & Root causeanalysis support and drive problem resolution for commercialplants. The Sustainability and Energy technologist is required tosupport in Growth Projects and evaluate energy efficiency ofmultiple designs of blue ammonia plants be aware of the differencesof available licensing technology from main licensors and theimpact on energy in each configuration support the project team toselect the most efficient technology.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Provide guidance and conduct an energy assessment toselect the optimal technology for Blue Ammonia development andprocess configuration.
    • Possess knowledge ofindustry decarbonization solutions and their integration intotechnology selection.
    • Generate energyefficiency reports and implement improvements in commercialplants.
    • Develop a plantwide model to monitorand guide energy consumption and performanceimprovements.
    • Conduct energy and mass balancecalculations energy optimization and pinch studies pumpcalculations feasibility studies and revamp studies.
    • Independently review engineering documents and ensureoptimal technology selection and improvements in energybalance.
    • Collaborate with external companiesstartups and universities to lead projects for plantimplementation.
    • Offer insights guidance andsupport for product development within the group.
    • Actively promote a safety culture mentor young employeesand initiate new safety initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Relocation:Permanent relocation to Jubail Saudi Arabia.
    • Preferably holds a Masters or PhD degree.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in new productdevelopment with a preference for experience or collaboration withstartups.
    • Strong strategic thinking andplanning abilities.
    • Leadership skills toeffectively work with and influence individuals from diversedisciplines and cultures.
    • Capable of creatingnurturing and promoting a culture of innovation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
    • Highly selfmotivated andproactive.
