    The Business Development ManagerIndustrial eMarketplace is a dynamic role responsible for drivingthe growth of our digital procurement platform by focusing onoutreach to both suppliers and buyers within the industrial sector.This individual will leverage their deep understanding ofindustrial buyers suppliers and technology to demonstrate the valueof our platform with the goal of onboarding new participants. Thesuccessful candidate will be adept at identifying potential clientsengaging in strategic discussions and showcasing our platformscapabilities through persuasive demonstrations. This role requiresa blend of sales acumen industry knowledge and technological savvyto communicate our platforms benefits and foster longtermpartnershipseffectively.

    Responsibilities

    • Supplierand Buyer Outreach
      • Proactively identify andengage potential suppliers and buyers within the industrial sectorusing market research and networking.
      • Developand execute outreach strategies to maximize the platformsvisibility and attractiveness to key market segments.
    • Demonstrations and Onboarding
      • Conduct compelling demonstrations of theplatform to showcase its features benefits and value to potentialsuppliers and buyers.
      • Guide new participantsthrough the onboarding process ensuring a smooth and positiveintroduction to the platform.
      • Attendtradeshows and industrial exhibitions on behalf of the company todemonstrate the platform.
    • Market Intelligence
      • Gather insights on industry trends buyer needs andsupplier capabilities to inform platform development and outreachstrategies.
      • Maintain uptodate knowledge oftechnological advancements in procurement and supply chainmanagement to enhance platform offerings.
    • Strategic Partnerships
      • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with keyindustrial players trade associations and technology providers toenhance platform reach and capabilities.
      • Collaborate with partners to create comarketing andcodevelopment opportunities.
    • Sales Planning
      • Work with leadership to develop and implement strategicsales plans that align with business objectives.
      • Set and achieve sales targets tracking progress andadjusting strategies as necessary to ensure success.
      • Collect feedback from platform users to identifyopportunities for improvement and customization.
      • Collaborate with the product development team to refineplatform features based on market needs and feedback.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelorsdegree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field;Masters degree preferred.
    • Proven 5 years ofexperience in sales or business development within the industrialsector with a strong track record of achievingtargets.
    • Deep understanding of the procurementprocess supply chain management and the technological landscapeaffecting the industrial marketplace.
    • Excellentcommunication negotiation and presentation skills with the abilityto engage and persuade a diverse range ofstakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills with theability to translate market insights into actionable businessstrategies.
    • Experience with CRM systems digitalmarketing tools and analyticsplatforms.
    • Ability to travel as needed to meetwith potential suppliers and buyers and attend industryevents.
    • Professional level proficiency inEnglish including reading writing andspeaking.
