    • Understanding what guestexpectations are and anticipating problems in order to preventcomplaints.
    • Acting as a link between guests andhotel management.
    • Attending meetings withmanagement to discuss problems and strategies forimprovement.
    • Handling cash or payments made bycredit card.
    • Understanding safety and emergencyprocedures.
