    Sargent& Lundy is one of the largest and most experienced powerindustry engineering and consulting firms. We have a unique andexciting opportunity to join our Consulting group in the role of aProject Manager. This position will require you to execute workassociated with the development financing and execution of powergeneration projects.

    This position is beingadded to support continued growth of the Sargent & LundyConsulting group which regularly provides technical and financialdue diligence asset transaction support project developmentservices owners engineering services and longterm planning support.This position will require a great deal of facetoface interactionwith power project developers utilities investors legal advisorsand financial institutions during the execution of consultingservices work for the firm.

    Commonresponsibilities include:

    • Developconsulting project execution plan to meet clients needs
    • Lead project team by providing clear instructionincluding technical approaches
    • Manage hoursand work performed to budget and scope
    • Develop staff expertise through training and mentoring
    • Prepare proposals for consulting projectopportunities
    • Conduct multiple projectssimultaneously and ensure high standards of deliverables aremet
    • Client management
    Additional responsibilities as required include:
    • Advise power project developersto support new thermal and renewable energy projects as well asdesalination (SWRO) projects;
    • Perform ownersengineer design reviews of mechanical systems for power and waterprojects
    • Participate as in feasibilitystudies and development support for new power and waterprojects
    • Participate in condition assessmentsof existing power plants
    • Evaluate new powerand infrastructure projects to support financing;
    • Develop planning studies and business cases forutilities power producers and government agencies.
    • Interface with clients to understand requests andconfirm successful project execution
    • Travelfrom time to time to visit project locations and clientoffices.

    Ability to work off hoursto support calls in other regions (UASA)

    Qualifications: This position is based in the United Arab Emirates.

    Thisposition requires a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with1215 years of experience in the power industry including:

    • Owners engineer independentengineer and/or design engineer experience for development andexecution of conventional power generation specifically CCGT /Cogeneration.
    • Experience with projectcontracts including PPA and PWPA.
    • Feasibilitystudies for power projects
    • Experience andtechnical knowledge in multiple power generation technologies solarbattery energy storage wind a plus but core competency inconventional energy is required.
    • Experiencein longterm power supply and transmission planning projects is aplus
    • Experience in project finance orfinancial modeling of power projects is a plus
    • Experience with LNG projects SWRO H2/Ammonia or CCUSprojects is a plus

    Applicationswithout power generation experience will not beconsidered.
