    Description
    Collects and analyzeinformation from multiple internal and external sources
    Integrates and synchronizesconceptual data models to the logical/physical data model in thedatabase tool
    Creates, altersand/or maintains application warehouse/databasestructure
    Tunes and assessesphysical data warehouses, /databases andapplications
    Implements physicaldata standards
    Diagnoses andresolves problems, including interaction with other InformationTechnology staff and vendors to doso
    Coordinates and installsdatabases and database-relatedsoftware
    Maintains and developsdata warehouse databases and associated stored procedures, serveragent jobs, and maintenanceschedules
    Develops, tests,maintains and employs customized applications and databases to meetbusiness needs
    Researches andcollaborates with vendors and external resources to assist in theprocess of data warehousing programming andmaintenance
    Develops interfacesfor the credit union s coresystem
    Develops and implementscode (scripts/queries) in order to streamline communication betweensoftware and databases and to improve staff processes for accessingthe core system
    Builds requested,scheduled and batch reports
    Creates interfaces for monitoring data warehouse performance andinstalling upgrades and versions
    Provides database training support and trains users on customapplications
    Recommends ways toincrease data usage efficiency
    Backs up other departmental staff asnecessary
    Achieves a minimum ofSatisfactory rating on internal audits andexaminations
    Accomplishes thecredit union s mission by completing relevant duties as needed whenrequested by management or other staffmembers

    Requirements

    Advanced knowledge of information technology operations andsystems
    Advanced understanding ofdata warehousing and databasetools
    Knowledge of SQL relationaldatabase programming and querylanguages,
    Working knowledge andability to learn application programming languages:

    • HTML, Javascript, CrystalReports, , , , Visual Studio, MSSQL, SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, StoredProcedures, and CSS
    Knowledge ofcredit union products, services, policies, regulations andprocedures
    Proficient dataanalysis skills
    Demonstratedlogical skills used in application and querydesign
    Proficient softwareskills, such as Microsoft Office
    Intermediate mathematical skills
    Ability to handle multiple and complexdeadlines
    Ability to expressoneself clearly and articulately both orally and inwriting
    Ability to function as ateam member comprised of cross-departmental staff andvendors
    Ability to make decisionsand take initiative in problemresolution
    Ability to exercisetact and responsibility with handling confidentialinformation
    Ability to work withlittle supervision of dailyactivities
