    Overview

    The opportunity

    The Senior Process Specialist is accountable for establishing the Configuration and Asset Management process, including the design, implementation, and management of our Configuration Management Databases (CMDB). This position is on the first line of defense of our platform processes excellence and driver of continual process enhancements. As part of a process management team, the process owner will report to the team manager and will work closely with other process owners and the ITSM Tooling team.

    Responsibilities

    Your key responsibilities

    • Design and implement a robust Configuration and Asset Management process aligned with ITIL best practices.
    • Develop and maintain Configuration and Asset Management policies, procedures, and process enhancement roadmap.
    • Ensure that the Configuration Management process is properly implemented, adhered to, and continuously improved.
    • Define and maintain Configuration Item (CI) types and relationships within the CMDB(s).
    • Manage the Configuration Management Database(s) and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
    • Manage synchronisation between multiple data sources and CMDB(s).
    • Collaborate with other ITIL Process Owners to ensure consistency across processes and tools.
    • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the Configuration Management process.
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including Service Owners, Service Managers, Process Owners, and Technical Support teams to ensure the CMDB(s) is integrated with other ITIL processes.
    • Provide guidance and training to IT staff and business stakeholders on the Configuration and Asset Management process.
    • Process and procedure documents are always updated and relevant to company goals and strategy.
    • Ensure successful completion of company audits to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold industry standards.

    Qualifications

    What we look for

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or related field.
    • Experience in ITIL processes, with a focus on Configuration and Asset Management.
    • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and related processes.
    • ITIL certification.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ideally, you'll also have

    • Experience with cloud services and products.
