    Overview of therole:

    The role of the Sales Executiveis crucial in advancing Volvos market presence and driving salesgrowth in the government and fleet sectors for both traditionalInternal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Trucks. The jobholder will focus on promoting Volvos Electric Vehicles (EVs) inthe UAE establishing robust connections with key stakeholderscrafting compelling proposals and facilitating seamlesscollaboration among stakeholders. Success in this role willcontribute significantly to expanding Volvos market share in bothICE and Electric Vehicle segments.

    What you willdo:

    • Monthly UnitsTarget Achievement: Take full responsibility forachieving monthly unit targets in both Volvo ICE and ElectricVehicles.
    • Collaborative GoalSetting: Work closely with the head of sales and productmanager to establish monthly and quarterly objectives bymodel.
    • ForecastingStrategy: Develop a robust forecasting strategy enablingaccurate weekly forecasts of sales and gross margin for directcommunication to the line manager.
    • Sales Progression Monitoring: Measuremonitor and compare sales progression each month taking appropriateactions to ensure the sales plan is achieved.

    Required skills to besuccessful:

    • Project Management: Demonstratedstrong project management skills.
    • Relationship Management: Provenability in building and maintaining strong relationships with keystakeholders.
    • NegotiationSkills: Strong negotiation skills to facilitatesuccessful deals and partnerships.
    • Financial Awareness: Solid financialawareness and business acumen.
    • Communication Skills: Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency inother regionally spoken languages including Arabic is an addedadvantage.
    • TechnicalProficiency: Proficient in MS Word Excel andPowerPoint.
    • AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical numerical and presentationskills.

    What equips youfor the role:

    Education: Bachelors degree in anydiscipline preferably in Engineering or Management.
    Experience: At least 5 years of experience inthe automotive industry specifically in Heavy Commercial Vehiclesor trucks Superstructure and equipment Manufacturing.
    Geographical Experience: UAE experience is anadded advantage.
