    Job Purpose
    Duties andResponsibilities
    Responsible fordeveloping and implementing the Academy Alumni Officestrategy.
    Responsible fordeveloping the Alumni affairs budget and tailoring theAlumni
    Relations program to theavailable resources and monitoring expenses againstthat
    budget.
    Represent the Academy in significant Alumni Officeevents.
    Develop and maintainrelationships with alumni locally regionallyand
    internationally.
    Organise and manage alumni events in advance of the GraduateSatisfaction Survey
    to enhance itseffectiveness and achieve the necessary responserates.
    Promote alumni benefits tograduating students and encourage participationin
    alumniinitiatives.
    Develop professionalrelationships with students faculty staff alumni andindustry
    professionals.
    Provide direction programming and goals that strategicallyintegrate all aspects
    careerdevelopment career exploration internships job placement andcareer
    planning.
    Provide oneonone advising workshops and seminars about strategiesfor job
    search includingselfassessment exploration decisionmaking job search skillsand
    selfdirected job searchstrategies for students andalumni.
    Work in collaborationwith Program Leaders faculty staff and alumni todevelop
    new leads for internshipsjob shadowing and fulltimepositions.
    The Manager isresponsible for all alumni activities andrelations.
    Maintain a robustalumni network and track their careerprogress
    and evidence to theQuality Assurance Office for accreditation and qualityassurance
    reports.
    Maintain employer database for internships and full and parttimepositions.

    The Students Career& Alumni Affairs Manager is a key interaction point betweenthe
    portfolio internal andexternal client groups and works closely with External Relationsto
    ensure alignment with theAcademy s wider alumni engagementstrategy.
    Knowledge andExperience


    Essential:

    Bachelor s degree in Business Management Marketing Public Relationsorrelated
    field
    Minimum experience of 7 years
    Theability to work effectively as a team member in a multiculturalenvironment
    Knowledge of methodsand procedures for seeking professionalemployment
    including but notlimited to resume and cover letter formats social networkingjob
    search andinterviewing.
    Understanding ofcareer development principles and practices to provideeffective
    guidance to students andalumni.
    Knowledge of the highereducation system academic programs andstudent
    services in theacademy.
    Awareness of currentlabour market trends industry demands andjob
    opportunities.

    Desirable:
    Experience in marketing and/or publicrelations
    Knowledge of Arabic isdesirable.

    JobPurpose Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for developing andimplementing the Academy Alumni Office strategy.

    Responsible fordeveloping the Alumni affairs budget and tailoring the AlumniRelations program to the available resources and monitoringexpenses against that budget.

    Represent the Academy in significantAlumni Office events. Develop and maintain relationships withalumni locally, regionally and internationally.

    Organise and managealumni events in advance of the 'Graduate Satisfaction Survey' toenhance its effectiveness and achieve the necessary response rates.

    Promote alumni benefits to graduating students and encourageparticipation in alumni initiatives. Develop professionalrelationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni and industryprofessionals. Provide direction, programming, and goals thatstrategically integrate all aspects career development, careerexploration, internships, job placement and career planning.

    Provide one-on-one advising, workshops, and seminars aboutstrategies for job search including self-assessment, exploration,decision-making, job search skills and self-directed job searchstrategies for students and alumni.

    Work in collaboration withProgram Leaders, faculty, staff and alumni to develop new leads forinternships, job shadowing and full-time positions. The Manager isresponsible for all alumni activities and relations.

    Maintain arobust alumni network and track their career progress and evidenceto the Quality Assurance Office for accreditation and qualityassurance reports.

    Maintain employer database for internships andfull- and part-time positions.

    Key Interactions The Students Career& Alumni Affairs Manager is a key interaction point between theportfolio, internal and external client groups, and works closelywith External Relations to ensure alignment with the Academy swider alumni engagement strategy.

    Knowledge and Experience

    Essential:

    Bachelor s degree in Business Management, Marketing,Public Relations or related field Minimum experience of 7 years Theability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-culturalenvironment Knowledge of methods and procedures for seekingprofessional employment including but not limited to resume andcover letter formats, social networking, job search andinterviewing.

    Understanding of career development principles andpractices to provide effective guidance to students and alumni.
    Knowledge of the higher education system, academic programs, andstudent services in the academy. Awareness of current labour markettrends, industry demands, and job opportunities.


    Desirable:
    Experience in marketing and/or public relations Knowledge of Arabicis desirable
