    SafetyManager - Job Description

    Ourclient is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to oversee and enhancethe organization's safety programs, ensuring the highestsafety and compliance standards within the asphalt maintenance andparking lot management industry. The successful candidate will beresponsible for

    • **Developing and Implementing SafetyPrograms ** Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safetyprotocols and programs in compliance with federal, state, and localregulations.
    • **Risk Assessment ** Conductregular risk assessments to identify potential hazards andimplement corrective actions to mitigaterisks.
    • **Training and Education ** Develop anddeliver safety training and education programs to employees,ensuring all team members are informed about safety policies andprocedures.
    • **Accident Investigation ** Leadinvestigations into accidents and near-miss incidents to determinecauses and develop preventativestrategies.
    • **Compliance Monitoring ** Monitorcompliance with safety procedures and regulations and performregular safety audits andinspections.
    • **Emergency Response Planning **Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuationprocedures and contact information.
    • **SafetyCommunication ** Serve as the primary point of contact for allsafety-related issues, providing guidance and support to managementand staff.
    • **Record Keeping and Reporting **Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and trainingand prepare reports on safety performance for seniormanagement.
    • **Continuous Improvement **Continuously review and update safety policies and practices toadapt to new regulations and best practices in theindustry.

    **Qualifications **

    • Bachelor's degree in safetymanagement, occupational health, engineering, or relatedfield.
    • Professional certification in safetymanagement (e.g., CSP, ASP) preferred.
    • Provenexperience in safety management within the construction, asphalt,or related industry.
    • Strong understanding offederal, state, and local safetyregulations.
    • Excellent communication,leadership, and analyticalskills.
