    Description

    What You'll Do On aTypical Day

    • Develop, update and maintain writtensafety and health procedures in compliance with company policies,as well as state and federal regulations
    • Serveas the subject matter expert for OSHA compliance and the primarypoint of contact for all safety-relatedissues
    • Participate in incident investigations;ensure complete and accurate incident documentation andreporting
    • Conduct compliance audits to ensurepractices and record accuracy, including OSHA documentation, andcomply with all government and companypolicies
    • Participate in new process reviews,including job hazard analysis, new process training,etc.
    • Create, maintain and deliver safetytraining on a regular basis
    • Conduct riskassessments to minimize and eliminate risk, losses andenvironmental issues
    • Analyze safety and healthdata, develop metrics and create and distribute reports forleadership

    What You Need ToSucceed At GXO

    At a minimum,you'll need:

    • 4years of related work experience, including 2 years of safety auditexperience
    • Experience reporting safety metrics(leading/lagging indicators)
    • Experience withMicrosoft Office

    It'd Be GreatIf You Also Have

    • Bachelor's degree inOccupational Health and Safety, Safety Sciences or a relatedfield
    • Membership in a nationally recognizedsafety organization
    • Availability to travel asneeded to support organizational safety needs
    • 5years of experience managing safety and health programs in anindustrial or warehouse environment
