    A Mortgage LoanOfficer works with clients to complete mortgage loan This involvescollecting employment and financial data, including an applicantsassets, current debts and monthly A Mortgage loan officer mustverify all data given to them by clients and then prepare the loanfor submission to

    Requirements

    • Researches,identifies and generates business leads, networks, contacts, andopportunities; interviews and works with prospective loan clientsand other clients to obtain lending business for the bank;cross-sells and market the bank s mortgage and other bankingsolutions
    • Screensmortgage loan requests; educates prospective clients about the banks underwriting guidelines and all applicable governmentregulations
    • Obtainsrequired information and documents from prospective loan clientsand analyzes financial and creditdata
    • Obtains,manages, and completes the loan application process for clients;enters loan information into mortgage system accurately; submitsloan application files for processing and underwriting approval intimelymanner
    • Protectscustomers information and interests; identifies and complies withall legal requirements, government and banking laws, regulations,and reporting affecting job, business development, sales, andrelated functions; adheres to all bank policies, procedures,processes, reporting, guidelines, training requirements, and;
    • Proactivelyutilizes the bank s customer relationship system, tools, programs,and other resources to meet goals and;
    • Regularlyattends Officer Loan Committee meetings, Director Loan CommitteeMeetings, Deal Flow Meetings, Sales Meetings, and other meetings as;

    Qualifications:

    • Ahigh school diploma or GED equivalent or Bachelor s degree infinance, accounting, economics, marketing, business administration,or related
    • Strongworking knowledge of various type of mortgage loans (FHA, VA,Conventional, ) in a banking or mortgageenvironment
    • Two(2) years government and conventional loan processing experiencepreferred or a Minimum three (3) years of residential mortgage loanorigination, business development experience in a mortgage orbanking environment; National Mortgage License System (NMLS)Certification isrequired
    • Goodunderstanding of mortgage and consumer laws, regulations, policies,guidelines, practices, and procedures
    • Excellentbusiness development, mortgage, marketing, sales, customerrelations, project management, leadership, and organizationalskills; superior interpersonal, relationship management, research,and analytical abilities; strong financial
    • Abilityto meet performance goals, objectives, and deadlines; plans ahead,anticipates problems, and forecasts;
    • Highintegrity with the ability to handle confidential matters withproven ability to protect and maintain the highly confidentialnature of the company, customer, employee, business development,marketing, sales, and other confidential related information;ability to function in a team and fast-paced
