    Description

    This is a fantasticopportunity for a general practice Accounts & Tax Managerto join a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants inChatham, who are looking for a general practice Manager to jointhem with potential to become a Partner in the future. There arevery clear and realistic progression prospects on offer with thisfantastic practice. You will join at Manager, or Senior Managerlevel with a clear progression path in place based on yourexperience and aspirations. This is a rare and really excitingopportunity in Medway,Kent

    As part ofthis position, you will work closely with the Partners and beresponsible for your own personal portfolio, and over seeing thework of a small team. Your work will be focused on general practiceaccounts & tax services to a range of sole traders,partnerships and ltd companies, predominately focused on ownermanaged businesses with turnovers up to30m.

    Keyresponsibilities willinclude:

    • Managingyour own client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and ltdcompanies.
    • Oversee andreviewing production of company accounts, financial statements,corporation tax and personal tax.
    • Buildingstrong relationships across all teams and managers.
    • Liaisingregularly with clients to ensure strong and trusted partnership.
    • Ensuretimely and efficientdelivery.
    • Workingwith the partners to ensure the smooth running of thebusiness.
    • Opportunityto get involved in business development/ marketing asnecessary.
    • Opportunityto get involved with audit work, if ofinterest.

    Requirements

    • Preferablyqualified ACA/ACCA or byexperience.
    • 5-10+years experience within an accountancy practiceexperience.
    • Experiencepreparing accounts and taxreturns.
    • Experienceof QuickBooks, Xero or Sage would beadvantageous.
