    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Management Procurement Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on facilities-related goods and services. The candidate should be well-versed in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing procurement processes. Knowledge of asset management and fleet management is essential for this role.

    Responsibilities:

    Procurement Leadership:

    • Lead the procurement process for facility-related goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

    Contract Negotiation:

    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve savings.

    Vendor Management:

    • Evaluate and select suppliers based on performance, quality, and compliance with contractual agreements.
    • Conduct regular vendor assessments and foster positive relationships with key suppliers.

    Asset Management:

    • Implement and maintain an effective asset management system.
    • Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of company assets.

    Fleet Management:

    • Manage the procurement of fleet vehicles, optimizing the fleet for cost efficiency and reliability.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with fleet management policies.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs and requirements.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination between procurement and other departments.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • 4 to 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on facilities-related procurement.
    • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and achieving cost reductions.
    • Knowledge of asset management and fleet management practices.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Certifications:

    • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is a plus.
