    Job Title:ProcurementManager

    JobOverview:
    As aProcurement Manager you will oversee and manage the company sprocurement activities ensuring effective strategies and processesare implemented to meet operational requirements and financialobjectives. Your leadership will ensure the procurement teamachieves cost efficiency quality standards and compliance withinternal and externalregulations.

    Requirements

    ResponsibilitiesandDuties:

    • Developand implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align withthe company s goals and financialobjectives.
    • Leadthe procurement team in executing best practices and streamlinedprocedures to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.
    • Preparedetailed reports on procurement performance cost savings and othervital metrics for managementreview.
    • Monitorsupplier performance to ensure quality and address any issues ordiscrepancies thatarise.
    • Analyzemarket trends pricing and supply chain risks to make informeddecisions.
    • Collaboratewith internal stakeholders to assess and fulfill their procurementneeds andspecifications.
    • Approvepurchase orders and proposals while ensuring compliance withcompanypolicies.
    • Maintainseamless communication and interaction between the procurement teamand otherdepartments.
    • Leadand motivate the procurement team to meet the strategic goals ofthedepartment.
    • Managethe endtoend procuretopay (P2P) cycle efficiently andaccurately.

    KeyQualifications:

    • 910years of progressive experience in procurement or a closely relatedfield.
    • Atleast 4 years of experience in a managerial role preferably withinthe FMCGsector.
    • Strongleadership skills and experience in managing diverseteams.
    • Provenability to execute procurement processes effectively includingsourcing negotiation and suppliermanagement.
    • Experiencewith international procurement including a thorough understandingof Incoterms and import/exportregulations.
    • Familiaritywith operating across multiple legal entities and navigatingvarious legalframeworks.

    Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or arelatedfield.
    • Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g. CIPS) ispreferred.

Lead the procurement team in executing bestpractices and streamlined procedures to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness. Prepare detailed reports on procurement performance,cost savings, and other vital metrics for management review.Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and address anyissues or discrepancies that arise. Analyze market trends, pricing,and supply chain risks to make informed decisions. Collaborate withinternal stakeholders to assess and fulfill their procurement needsand specifications. Approve purchase orders and proposals whileensuring compliance with company policies. Maintain seamlesscommunication and interaction between the procurement team andother departments. Lead and motivate the procurement team to meetthe strategic goals of the department. Manage the end-to-endprocure-to-pay (P2P) cycle efficiently andaccurately.
