    NILFISK is international worldwide producer of advanced machines and equipment for B2B clients with well-established international presence that is currently looking to fill:

    The role:
    Service Chief


    Location:
    Dubai , UAE


    Preferred Experience:

    • At least several years of experience in technical role, supervising technical/service teams in technical goods sector (e.g. machinery, equipment),
    • Highly organized and comfortable with managing multiple projects and tasks to meet timelines in a high pressure environment.
    • Solid leadership skills, including a demonstrated commitment to develop people and an ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships,
    • Hands-on, well organized, efficient and has a structured and detailed approach,
    • Self-motivated with the ability work autonomously,
    • Good presentation skills with an ability to liaise effectively with people from various levels in a corporate environment.
    • Good at establishing strong and trustful relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders,
    • Business acumen and technical nous, with the ability to think strategically to meet customers needs and at the same time experience in running a team of technicians who can maintain and repair capital equipment.
    • Proactive, takes initiative and constantly looking to improve performance, processes etc. with high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including strong reporting skills.
    • Preferred experience in an international company (companies) acting in accordance to corporate rules.
    • A proven background knowledge in mechanical fault finding, maintenance and repairs of mechanical/electrical equipment, more of a support to technicians as opposed to hands on repair
    • Higher technical education with specialization in electrics/electronics, mechanics, automation or mechatronics is required; if other educational background, in-depth experience in technical market segment (service) is required, or related qualification such as Engineer, plant mechanic, motor mechanic, electrician, or auto-electrician.
    • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other IT systems.
    • Current driver s license.
    • Fluency in English.

    Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Responsibility for realization of team's servicing budget (both income and cost sides).
    • Actively seeking new ways to improve efficiency of the Service business.
    • Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure work outcomes are delivered on time and within budget while meeting targets
    • Achieve Service Unit growth, revenue and EBIT targets by providing quality leadership to the team and effective technical support to end-clients and distributors,
    • Develop complex servicing business including technical support in sales activities of new equipment, warranty service, active sales of post-warranty services.
    • Provide local management with analysis and planning to develop the business strategy to deliver the expected profitable growth.
    • Coordinate and implement service strategies in the market in reliance with company's guidelines.
    • Assist in the sales forecast and planning; works closely together with the whole team to ensure alignment on customer priorities.
    • Actively seeking new ways to improve efficiency of the Service business.
    • Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure work outcomes are delivered on time and within budget while meeting targets
    • Build a team of mobile engineers in line with revenue and develop and strategy of high professionalism and attitude.
    • Management of spare parts business.
    • Establish and maintain long-lasting relationship with key clients.
    • Managing remote service team of experienced service technicians in different locations.
    • Train and develop dealers to grow their product and technical knowledge.
    • Travel required related to visiting Clients, supporting the service/ sales force in the field.
    • Service Chief will have the exposure to both internal and external stakeholders such as Clients, business partners and Internal stakeholders, other service managers in another countries.
