    Description

    What will I bedoing?

    As Front Desk Agent, youwill provide reception services for Guests to contribute to anoverall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out andcomplete audits, as required. A Front Desk Agent contributes to thefirst impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform thefollowing tasks to the highest standards:

    • Achieve positive outcomes from Guestqueries in a timely and efficient manner
    • Ensurean efficient reception experience for Guests, including checkin/out, and complete audit procedures, asrequired
    • Ensure that both the Front OfficeManager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of anyrelevant feedback from guests and, or, otherdepartments
    • Demonstrate a high level ofcustomer service at all times
    • Attendappropriate training courses, when required, and assist with theNight Team's training and developmentefforts
    • Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel roomcategories, room rates, packages, promotions and other generalproduct knowledge necessary to perform dailyduties
    • Maximize room occupancy and useup-selling techniques to promote hotel services andfacilities
    • Use the correct procedures regardingthe acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash inaccordance with the hotel credit policy
    • Complywith hotel security, fire regulations and all heath and safetylegislation
    • Act in accordance with policies andprocedures when working with front of house equipment and propertymanagement systems
    • Follow company brandstandards
    • Assist other departments, asnecessary

    • Previous experience in acustomer-focused industry
    • Positive attitude andgood communication skills both written andverbal
    • Commitment to delivering a high level ofcustomer service
    • Excellent groomingstandards
    • Ability to work on your own and aspart of a team
    • Competent level of ITproficiency

    Itwould be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate thefollowing capabilities and distinctions:

    • Previous experience in cashhandling
    • Diploma / Certificate in HotelManagement or equivalent
